## **Trustee Annual Report** 

**All Girlguiding Ulster Charities are governed by the Royal Charter and Bye-laws.** 

**The Purpose of each of these Charities is to educate girls and young women to help them develop emotionally, mentally, physically and spiritually so that they can make a positive contribution to their Community and the wider world.**

**A summary of the Charity’s main activities to further its purposes for the public benefit and the main achievements in the year** 

1[st] Islandmagee Brownie meetings suspended due to Covid 19. 

1 Brownie member still enrolled. 

1[st] Islandmagee Brownie meetings recommenced September 2022. 3 Brownie members took part in the unit from September to December. The Brownies started working towards their Theme Award badge  – Brownies Skills For My Future and their Skill Builders badge – Live Smart Stage 2. 

The 3 Brownies made their Promise in November. Attended the local Royal British Legion Community Remembrance Service. Went to the Guiding District cinema trip. Had a joint Halloween party with the 1[st] Islandmagee Rainbows. Completed their Interest badge – Jobs. 

There was no harm flowing from the Charities purposes and there was no private benefit. 

**A statement that the Trustees have had regard to the Commission’s Public Benefit requirement statutory guidance** 

As Trustee I am aware and have regard of the above guidance. 

**A review of the Charity’s financial position at the end of the year** 

Balance at the beginning of the year: 01/01/22: £701.60 Balance at the end of the year: 31/12/22: £581.02 Income: £0.00 Expenses: £112. 58
