We have been having problems recruiting girls into the uniL we have tried local Facebook sites and Inforn￿tiOn in
the church tnagaziTte with little success. We have h3d bringa friend nightwhich was a partial success.we worked on
many Brownie badges. UMA'sand skÉll builder& At Thinking Day as usual we celebrated the diversity of Guiding and
our unit attended a Thinking Day event We completed crnfts throughout the year and the girls love cooking and
bakin& this vras not possible in the iEisure Centre, we were denied use of the kitchen and even of the microwave.
We have IiEllited stordge space so we have been ushng up some of accumulated craft ￿aterials. The unit has girls
with various challenges. one child in a wheelchair. one on the aulistic spectrum, so we adapt acttvities to include
everyone as much as possible. The girls attended the Crumlin Royal British iEg]on Remembrance Parade and laid a
wreath. As usual we had a BBQon the lastdayofthe sumtner se55ions, burgers. toasted marshmallows and ofcourse

The unEt had on a met on a Wednesday in Crumlin Community Centre (now Leisure Centre) for approximately 39
Years the Counal more than doubled the rent {£22.50 perweekj, fortunately. from mid February we have met on a
Tuesday in a local church hall. we give a donation towards lÈght and heat (we deaded on approximately £20 per
monthl. Finanaally speaking this has made a tremendous difference to the unit butwe remain very thrifty.
