A summary of the Charity’s main activities to further its purposes for the public benefit and the main achievements in the year

We started the year with 30 Brownies and had a very successful first term and our new members all made their Girlguiding Promise. They were also busy working on Theme Awards, badges, crafts and learning new games and songs.

The Brownies had a visit from ‘Pepper’ an Assistance dog and the girls choose to support the Assistance Dogs NI charity for their Christmas Good Turn.

The girls visited their local fire station and got a tour of the premises and the appliances. They had a great evening, as did the leaders.

We joined with our Rainbow, Guide and Senior Section units and attended the Parish Church for the Remembrance Sunday service.

The Brownies had a fantastic Pack Holiday at Lorne Guide House with the theme of ‘Stitch’. The highlight of the weekend was the Bush craft, where we made fires and cooked smores. We finished the year with a party showing our Pack Holiday photos.

There was no harm flowing from the Charities purposes and there was no private benefit.
