This indudes improved moral support. social engagement and interaction, computer literary, skilts, career
pathways and educati(￿ as well as the provision of infomiation on accessing health and social care servi￿$ in
the community.
Further benefits indulk better advocacy on behalf of migrants who may not be able to access ser4ices for
which they are eligible. The beneficiaries will be parents of African des￿nt who have children suffering from
long-temi illnesses and disabilities in the Greater Belfast a￿a and Northern Ireland. These benefits can be
demonstrated by promoting social inclusion throlth engagement in community attivities. home visitations,

The year 2023 was a successful and engaging year for Faith-mariam Foundation.
The Charity engaged in many activitie5. fulfillin8 our charitable commitment to our local community.
The Charity also organised various activities and sPOrtin8 events that included:
The advancement of education
The advancement of citizenship and community development
The relief of those in need by reason of youth. age. ill-health. disability. financial hardship or other
disadvantage
Other charitable purposes
The events were all attended by various ethnic minority groups and a150 local charity organizations

The trustees declare that they have complied with their duty to have due regard to the guidance on
public benefit published by the comrnission in exercising their powers or duties.
Summary of the Main Achievements of the Charityfor the Year:
We provide counselling and provide infonnation, e.g., we use the different centres and avenues for
counselling and as an infonnation dissemination point for all the services. we offer various individuals and
families.
In other to support our international chapter, various support prograrnme was organized to try to raise
awareness and support required to advance our objettives.
Free seminars on skills acquisition. career development. parentin& and training were provided wsth costs
covered by the Charity to support people to develop themselves and better their future.
Families in the community with long tern sickness were given support based on the abilrty of our Charity.

Financial Review
Brief Statement of the Charity's Policy on Reserves:
It is the policy of Faith-mariam Foundation to hold in ￿selveS the equivalent of two months general running
costs. It is also our policy to hold an amount for likety outreach works. In view of the forthcoming family fun
games programme next year. we have allocated £15tXl of reserves to cover our involvement. This policy will be
reviewed in twelve months, time apart from the Leaming and training pfojert element which will be ￿vieWed
in six months, time when the situation is dearer.
