Trustees Report on Behalf of the Directors of Let's Do Veterans Support & Rehabilitation Limited
Chairman introduction
Lt. Col. A. Doubleday LLB.
The members assembled at Frenches Restaurant to discuss all matters relating to the above-named
charity.
Matters arising
I called the meeting to order and firstly asked was there any changes to either Directors or
committee.
It was proposed by Brian Mc Kee and seconded by David Mc Mccullough that we re elect all posts
from the previous year. Being no objections to this all posts within the Charity will remain
unchanged.
Kennedy's Lake Site
This will need significant upgrades funding being sought to make further improvements which will
allow better access etc, etc.
Green's Lane Farm
The Archery / shooting Range has now been completed but the attention must now turn to the roof
which is in need of repairs.
Charity office / Care Takers Residence
This has been damaged by the recent storms and will now require repairs to prevent more damage
and also the safety fencing around the fishing lake has also been damaged.
Funding / Grant Funding and Fun Raising
This was discussed and with VE Day in May it was discussed that we apply for a grant to run an open
day around or near this date.
Also discussed various work shops regarding fishing / dry stone wall building and Archery / shooting
Target Practise. This will be run both indoors and outdoors.
Future Proofing the facility
This was also discussed in terms of opening it up to a wider community and further afield to appeal
to more groups etc. So facility improvement will be a top priority.
Weather proofing and Storm Contingency Planning will be required to assist with storm damage
limitation because of increased storms during the winter months.
Accounts
The accounts have been presented and have been approved by all present including Bank
statements. It is a point of note the funds are very heavily depleted and further action will be
needed to rectify the current situation

Chairman / Trustee Report continued
Right of Way Access
This has still not been been addressed Ref., Disabled Access to the Campsite via,
Green's Lane.
Various Public / Local Gov Bodies have been contacted but little or no advise or contact on
this issue has been offered.
There seems to be a clear attempt to deprive Disabled wheel chair users access to the site
and also Disabled people wanting to fish / stay at the campsite.
This must be addressed as soon as can be arranged as there is a clear attempt for thuggery
and at least 2 x individuals are known to"Police' regarding threats to members /
volunteers and visitors.
Charity outlook
Outlook remains uncertain regarding on going issues and recent Storm damage and financial
short falls.
Next meeting
To be arranged first week of March all members including committee / volunteers and
Directors
To discuss open day and week end some time in May /June 2025.
Signed by.
Directors.
