NIC. 105434 IM. 1281 As chair, I have had to make some decisions that have had an impact on those within it but as we are in the grip of harsh economic times, I had to keep our focus on keeping the charity going forward. So, as we are moving into new areas of rehabilitation, I hope that we go on from strength to strength. Chairman Lt. Col. A. Doubleday. Previous minute5. Passed by all present Current business. Charity accounts Icopy passed to all present]. These accounts are now approved by the Auditor from the Accountant [Mc Cune & Co.] And are now approved by the Auditor Imrs D. Griggs]. Can go and be published in Charity Commission Nl. Website by secretary B. Mc Kee. IAccounts approvedl. Events Charity ran several events throughout the year including 3 x fishing try outs Ix open day Ix shooting target rifle Ix Archery. 2 x IOM Race [motorcyclel Financial Position. Charity has seen a reduction in funding which has led to a strain on finances but as the facility continues to be developed. There is now a funding plan in place to allow it to seek active funding / grants etc. Details to be announced at nest Archery try out session in April Future plans. It is now been agreed by all present that the facility be split into 2 areas as follows- Kennedy's Lake [consists of Lake and outdoor activities] Green's Lane Farm lall indoor activities] Plans being drawn up to create / upgrade existing facilities which will be announced in April coming. Election of off icers was proposed that unless illness or unforeseen circumstances all posts to be retained until next AGM.
Volunteers There are some interested parties wishing to become involved in the charity this will take time to become to fruition. It was also suggested for reasons of security that these individuals wish to not have their names put in print or photographs or any one from a security forces back ground lother]. That these folk be given that choice before publishing material relating to a particular individual or group visiting or being involved within our organisation. Regarding an event / open day or function being run by the above organisation., Grants etc. There are new dimensions relating to funding which will be explored in the coming week5 and detail to be forwarded to all members on the progres5. Projects Upgrade of lake and safety fencing Initial ground work commenced and will resume when the weather improves fencing has been purchased and can go ahead when volunteers can be organised within this month. Imarch] Wildlife reserve. It also has been discussed that there be a reserve to preserve / promote wild life at the facility ideas can now be put forward to that effect. Access Iright of wavl As you will be aware our campsite disabled access route has been illegally blocked so far no public body has given our charity any clarity on the removal of these obstructions lawait further advise on removal].
