A summary of the Charity’s main activities to further its purpose for the public benefit and the main achievements in the year

Holywood District Guides supports the 9 units in Holywood.

There were 172 girls within the district closed for the summer on 30th June 2022. During the year we held a variety of different events for the girls including visiting the Pantomime, Clip and Climb and the annal Mayday Fair.

We providing First Response and Safeguarding trainings for the leaders. The Leader in Training held a JOIN US day for the new Rainbows and Brownies joining in September.

A statement that the Trustees have had regard to the Commission’s Public Benefit requirement statutory guidance.

All the Trustees of Holywood District Guides are aware of the Commission’s Public Benefit requirement statutory guidance.

A review of the Charity’s financial position at the end of the year.

Holywood District Guides had a surplus of £13485 for the year of guiding activities which leaves this surplus in the bank. This will allow the group to open again in September 2022 and fund activities next year. Friends of Guiding and Holywood District Guides amalgamated and combined bank accounts in September 22.

The group has no assets.
