Bushmills Presbyterian Church
Trustees Report for the year ended 31st December 2021.
PUBLIC BENEFIT
The congregation fulfilled its obligations under the above requirement during 2021. Nonetheless, the coronavirus pandemic continued to significantly impact on the activities of the congregation, its organisations, and the use of its facilities by community organisations during the year. The congregation and its organisations complied with the government guidance and only met when it was permissible to do so, ensuring appropriate social distancing, the wearing of face masks, hand sanitation and sanitation of pews, chairs, door handles, toilets, etc. after use. Sunday morning services and other devotional content were placed on website and social media platform.
A House of Worship was maintained and used by members and non-members during the year as government regulation and Presbyterian Church in Ireland guidelines permitted.
FINANCE
Although income shows a decline on the previous year, we are still able to meet our obligations. Our congregation has always been very supportive of various charitable appeals and this year we were able to engage in local gift distributions as permitted within Covid regulations. Our independent examiner is satisfied with the Accounts prepared. There are no matters which the Trustees are aware of which should be highlighted.
