Present: Theresa Maguire, Sinead McCaffrey, Elise Donaldson, Donna Reilly, Emma McManus and Caroline McManus.
1. Welcome
The Secretary welcomed all to Tiny Tots Parent and Toddler AGM and apologies for the unavoidable delay in the meeting due to illness.
2. Chairpersons review
Well done to Sinead, Elise, Caroline and Teresa on another successful year of Tiny Tots. Thanks were conveyed also to parents who have also helped on occasions where volunteers have been absent. 23 new families joined us this year including our 100[th] family who actually came from Coa!
3. Update on grant applications :
The Fermanagh & Omagh District Council have just granted us £270 towards running costs.
DAERA Micro Grant was awarded to the Playgroup (it appears in another accounting year due to accounting extract) towards a new table and chairs and two Rolly tractors toys.
4. Treasurers Report
As Liz Rutledge has recently welcomed a new baby, Catherine Reilly very kindly attended to and prepared the Accounts.
Catherine presented the Tiny Tots Group finances for the year ending 31 July 2022 (see attached Income and Expenditure Accounts for the year ended 31 July 2022).
The Groups finances for 2022 show a sterling surplus of £208.18 and €4.00 (2021 Surplus £499.33).
Weekly Parental Carer contributions totalled £399.57 and €4 (2021 was £0 and €0).
Expenditure of £607.75 was incurred by the Group.
The Cash balance of the Group stood at £1,169.38 and €7.00 as of 31[st] July 2022 (2021 at £1,377.56) and the Group remains in a satisfactory financial position.
5. Election of committee members
Catherine Reilly was elected as Treasurer. Her appointment was proposed by Theresa Maguire and seconded by Catherine Reilly.
Donna Reilly was elected in continuing the role of Secretary. Theresa Maguire proposed and Catherine Reilly seconded.
Elise Donaldson was elected to the position of Parent Representative.
We welcome our new committee members and thank them for offering their assistance.
6. Any other business
Leanne Donegan, Occupational Therapist has attended the group and provides advice in this area of paediatric care. Her work was introduced to the group along with the work she does at Camp6 Performance where there is an exercise class for parents and their children on Tuesday mornings.
A special thank you was conveyed to Caroline McManus for her works within the group.
No other business and the AGM was concluded.
