**Purposes:** The Association is established to relieve poverty, financial hardship, hunger and sickness within Ethiopia (hereinafter called the "area of benefit") and to promote and preserve good health and advance education by the provision of funds and goods or services of any kind, and in particular:  a) to provide or assist in the provision of educational and vocational training facilities and programmes within the area of benefit and the provision of preschool nurseries  b) to provide or assist in the provision of orphanages, medical care and the distribution of food to destitute and vulnerable people  c) to support the charitable purposes of any organisation or project within the area of benefit as the management committee from time to time determine.
