Auditors raspon8lblllties for the audit of the financial 8tatamants
Our obj8Ctives are to obtaln reasonable assurancè about whether tha financial stat8m8nts as a whole
are free from material misstatement, whether due to fraud or error, and to issue an auditor's report that
indudes our opinion. Reasonable assurance is a high level of assurance, but is not a guarantee that
an audit conduct8d in accordance wllh ISAS (UK) wlll alwayB d8tect a matarial misstatement wh8n it
exists. Misstatements can arise from fraud or error and are considered material if, indlvidually or in the
aggregate, they could reasonably be expected to influence the economic decisions of users tsken on
the ba51s of these flnancial st8ternents.
Irregularities, including fraud, are instances of non-complianc£ Mrith laws and regulations. We design
procedures In Ilnè with our r8sponsibilities. Dutlin8d above, to det8Ct material mlsstatBments in respect
irregularities. including fraud. The extent to which our proGBdures are Gapable of delecting
irregularits'es. including fraud is detailed below=
We obtalned an understanding of Ihe legal and regulatory frameworks that are applicable to the Group.
We understood how the Group is comklying with those frameworks by making enquiries of the
Trustees and thos8 responslble for legal and compllance procèdures. Our procedures where deslgned
to identify non-compliance wth such laws and regulations. A further description of our responsibilities
for the audit of the financial statements Is located on the Financial Reporting Councils web8it8. This
d￿rIPtIOn forms part of our audltors report.
As part of an audit in accordance with ISA5 (UK). we exercise professional judgment and maintain
prof8ssional scepticism throughout th8 audil. We also..
Identlfy and 8ssess the rlsks of m8terl81 mlsstatement of the flnanclal statement5, whether due to
fraud or error, design and perform audit procedures responsive to those risks, and obtain audit
evidence that is sufficient and appropriate to provide 8 basis for our opinion. The risk of not
detecting a material misstatement resulting from fraud is higher than for one resulting from error.
as fraud may involve collusion, forgery, intentlonal omissions, Misrep￿$8ntstIons, or the override
of inlern81 cA)ntrol.
Obtaln an undèrstandlng of Internal control relevant to the audlt In order to deslgn audlt
procedures that are appropriate in the circumstances, but not for the purpose of expressing an
opinion on th8 8ffectiV8ness of the internal control.
Evaluate the approprlatene88 of 8ccountlng pollcles used and the reasonableness of accountlng
estimates and related disclosures made by the trustees.
Condude on the appropri8teness of the trustees, U88 of the golng concern basis of accounting
and, based on the audlt 8vldenc8 obtained, whether a materlal uncertalnty exlst8 related to
events or conditions that may cast sunificant doubt on the charitvs abllity to continu8 as a going
Concern. If we conclude that a material uncertainly exists, we are required lo draw attention in our
auditor's report to the related disclosures In the financlal statements or, If such dlsclosures are
inadequate, to m¢xlify our opinion. Our conclusions are based on the audit evidence obtsined up
to the date of our audltor's report. However, futurp events or conditions may cause the charity to
cease to continue as a going concern.
Evaluate the overall presentstion. structure and content of the financial statements. including the

events in a manner that achieves fair presentation.
