## Activities

**Purposes:** (i) to relieve the poverty, sickness and distress of those members of the public who served as prisoners through or as a result of civil unrest in Northern Ireland  (ii) The advancement of education of the community in the area of benefit in matters relating to the nature of such issues of ex prisoners and civil unrest (iii) To support prisoners adjust to a changed North of Ireland after prolonged incarceration as a result of civil unrest in the area of benefit (iv) To provide support for the families of ex prisoners whilst trying to adjust to their new lives (v) To promote section 75 of the equality legislation 1998 and be representative of all beneficiaries regardless
