## ’ - Chair s Report 2021 2022 

The AGM was held on 15[th] November 2021 on zoom. All committee office holders agreed to remain and were confirmed by membership for another year: Chairperson-Alison Moss 

Treasurer- Kapil Puri 

Secretary- Lisa Foster 

Unfortunately, covid restrictions continued to impact our ability to run fundraising events at the start of this year. We continued to meet on zoom to review this ongoing situation and agreed in the absence of in-person fundraising events to hold a Christmas ballot which raised approximately £500. 

Amazon smile has continued this year with regular promotions within the school community and small quarterly donations which add up nicely. 

The school year ended on a more positive note with a welcome return to a face-to-face year 8 induction. PTA supplied refreshments and successfully recruited many potential new members. 

We had our first meeting back in school in September where we were able to welcome a large number of those new recruits. It was fantastic to see so many new faces and we look forward to getting to know everyone over the coming months. 

The Halloween junior disco took place on 27[th] October with our brilliant resident DJ Diane and a fantastic turnout of pupils. Everyone delighted to be back and hoping this is the start of the post covid times. 

Items that have been bought for school by PTA this year have included: boot cleaners, hygiene products, year 8 benches as well as donations to Headspace and the library. 

Thanks to all our PTA members and Teacher representatives for supporting us through these difficult months and really looking forward to catching up with everyone again and organising some fun and money-making events to continue to support the work of the college.
