Mission Statsment
Killeeshil Communty Centre Ass(Kiation was eslabltshed lo promots and provide educational. cultural, social and
recreational needs for the Killeeshil area and wider area.
The obiectNe of the charity is to address the lack of ac￿$$1b1e communty faa'lrties and services in the area through
the maintenance of an appropriate multi-purpose communty facilty
The direct benefft of the charity is providing a central bcation for the loeal community to come together and assisting
in the development of the communty and WKler eommunty as a wthse for present and fvrture generations to enjoy.

social indusion for families wtlhin the Killee$hil and su￿￿ndIng area.
Killeeshil Communty Centre AsscKk4Ii￿ encourages feedback from all users by using evaluations, suggestion t*)X
initialNes. websfte and S(￿la1 media. Infomalion meetings and attendance al annual general meetings are other
avenues used to encourage Feople to sit on the committee and p8rtiCiP8te in workshops in the hope lo gain an insight
to what tho ¢ornmunity needs are.
The chanty beneficiaries are the people of Killeeshil and the wider a￿a. and ts environs of Northem Irdand without
distinction of age, gerKler, disability. sexual orbentation, nationalty. ethn￿ idenlty. wlitical or religious opinion. by
associating the statutory authorities. communty and voluntsry organisalions and Ihe inhabitants in a ccmmon effort to
advance citizenship and community develokmnent. with the Obl￿t to impr￿le the condibons of life for the said
inhabitants

RMults and Dividend•
Al the end of the financial year the charity had assets of £64.763 (2023- £61.39T) and liabilities of £0 {2023 - £01. The
net assets of the chanty increased by £3.386.

The law applicable to charities in Ncrfthem IrelarKI requires the trustees to prepa￿ finanual slatemenls for eath
financial year whieh give a true and fair vie*1 of the assets, liabilities and fina￿la1 posr(ion of the charity as al t
financial year end date and of the surF4us or def￿rt of the charity and olherwise wmply with Charities Act
{Northem Ireland) 2008.
In preparing these finanoal statements, the trustees are required to..

observe the methods and prinoples in the Charities SORP
make judgements and accountsng estim*es that are reasonable and prudent.,

GENERAL INFORMATION
Killeeshil Ccffimunity Centre is a charity incorr¥)rated in Northem IrdaThJ. The registered office of the charity is
216 Dungannon Road. Dung*non. Co Tyrone. 8T70 1TH, Northem Ireland whith is also the prinrypal place
of business of the chanty. The ffinanoal ststements have been presented in Pound 1£) which is also the
fundional currency of the charity.
SUMMARY OF SIGNIFICANT ACCOUNTING POLICIES

material in relation to the chanty's financial statements.
Basts of prep•rati¢)n
The financial slalemenls have been prepared on the going concem basis under Ihe historical cost convention,
modffied to irKlude certain rtems al fair value. The finar￿la1 slalements have been prepared in accordance
wf(h the Statement of Recommended Practice ISQRP) 'Ac¢ounting and Reporting by Charrties preparing their
accounts in accordance with the FinarKkg1 Rep￿.n9 Standard applicable in the UK and Republic of Ireland
FRS 102.. applying Section 1A of th* Standard.
As permitted by the Companies Act 2C(6. the charity has varied th8 Standard fomiats in that act for the
Statement of Financial Activities and the 8olance Sheet. Departures from the standard formals are to comply
with the requirements of the Charities SORP and are in compliarte wrth Sectw 4.7. 10.6 and 15.2 of that
SORP.
Statgment of compliance
The financial ststements of the charity for the ffinancial year ended 31 December 2024 have been prepared on
the going concem basis and in accordance wilh the Siatement of Recommended Pracb"ce ISORP)
"Accounting and ReFQrting by Charib'es preparing their accounts in accordanc* with the Financial Reporting
