FUND ACCOUNTING
Endowment fLtnds are funds, the capltal of which must be retalned either permanently or al the con8re8ation'5 d15cretlon,' the Income derlved
from the endowment is to be used either as restricted or unre5trlcted Income funds depending upon the purpose for whl£h the endowment was
established In the first place.
Restrlcted funds cumprise lal income from endowmersts which 15 to be expended only on the restricted purposes Snlended by the donor and Ibl
revenue donatSons or 8rants for a speclflc congregatlonal activlty intended by the donor. Where these funds have unspent balan¢es. Interesi on
