INDEPENDENT EXAMINER'S REPORT TO THE TRUSTEE5 OF WHITEROCK CHILDRENS CENTRE LTD
I report on the financial statements of the company for the year ended 31 March 2023 which are
set out on pages 7 and 8.
This report is made solely to the company's Trustees. as a body in accordance with section
65(3)(a) of the Charities Act Northern Ireland 21x18 and regulations made under section 66 of the
Act. My work has been undertaken so that l rnight state to the company's Trustees those matters
l am required to state to them in an Independent examiner's report and for no other purpose. To
the fullest extent perrnitted by law. I do not accept or assume responsibility to anyone other
than the cornpany and the company'5 Trustees as a body. for my work of this report.
Respertive responsibilities of trustees and examiner
As the company's Trustees land also the dirertors of the company for the purpose of company
law) you are responsible for the preparation of the financial statements in accordance with the
requirments of the Companies Act 2006. Having 5at15fied myself that the company is not subjert
to audit under company law, and is eligable for Independant examination.
It is my responsibility to:
examine the accounts under section 65 of the Charities Act
• follow the procedures laid down in the general Directions given by the Commission under
section 6519)(b) of the Charities Art
state whether particular rnatters have come to my attention.
Basis of Independent Exarninei's report
I have examined your charity accounts as required under section 65 of the Charities Act and my
examination was carried out in accordance with the general directions given by the Charity
Commission for Northern Ireland under section 65{9){b) of the Charities Act.
My examination included a review of the accounting records kept by the charity and a
comparison of the accounts presented with those records. It was also included consideration of
any unusual items or di5cIosure5 in the accounts, and seeking explanation5 from you as charity
trustees concerning any such matters.
Independent examlnerfs statement
My role is to state whether any material matters have come to my attention giving me cause to
believe:
That accounting records were not kept in accordance with section 63 of the Charities Act
That the accounts do not accord with those accounting records
That the accounts do not comply with the accounting requirements of the Charities Art
That there is further information needed for a proper understanding of the accounts to be
reached.
