Summary of the Objectives of the Charity as set out in its Governing Document:

The Association is established to advance religion, relieve poverty, hardship and distress and for the benefit of the public on the Donegall Road and its environs of Belfast City Centre (hereinafter called the “area of benefit”), with the object of improving the conditions of life for the said public and in particular:

a) to promote the Christian faith in the area of benefit through evangelism, prayer events and meeting and street

outreach activities;

b) to provide assistance to people within the area of benefit who are deemed to be homeless or sleeping rough or

who are suffering from chemical dependence on alcohol or other drugs or from illness infirmity or disability connected with such chemical dependence through the provision of food, clothing and counselling;

c) to advance any other exclusively charitable purpose as the Committee may, from time to time, decide in accordance with the law of charity.

Summary of the Main Activities Undertaken for the Public Benefit in Relation to the Charity's Objects:

RCCG- CORNERSTONE CHURCH BELFAST CHARITABLE WORK FOR 2025

1: As a charity, we provided free academic advice/guidance to newly admitted international university students to help them acquaint with the teaching and learning methods in the United Kingdom which many of them find challenging at the start of their studies.

6: Our annual summer programme ‘’Family Fun Day’’ was held in August 2025. This was an outdoor event, and we had over one hundred and sixty (167) people in attendance. There were lots of activities which were meant to help the mental health of the people, ensure family cohesion, and promote love and unity in our community. Three square varieties of meals were provided by our charity and free transportation (Hired vehicles) were provided for many who did not have means of transportation. The event was fully funded by our charity.

Achievements & Performance

The trustees declare that they have complied with their duty to have due regard to the guidance on public benefit published by the commission in exercising their powers or duties.

Summary of the Main Achievements of the Charity for the Year:

2: In October 2025, we supported our Teens and Young Adults to premiere their movie which involved showcasing their numerous talents in script writing, acting, video editing and wider soft skills. Over 120 people from across different cultures and different areas in Belfast attended the movie premiere and experienced red-carpet interviews, fun 360 photo shoot, free food and drinks and a cinematic movie experience.

Financial Review

Brief Statement of the Charity's Policy on Reserves:

It is the policy of RCCG-Cornerstone Church to hold in reserves the equivalent of two months general running costs. It is also our policy to hold an amount for likely outreach works at the next inspection. In view of the forthcoming street retreat next year we have allocated £1000 to reserves to cover our involvement. This policy will be reviewed in twelve month’s time apart from the Learning and training project element which will be reviewed in six months time when the situation is clearer.
