with guidance and sUPPOrt from the previous incumbenL
The charity holds regular meetings and sU￿COMMittee meetings throughout the year. Sul
committees are often forn)ed to work on specific activitles/events and report back to the full

Committee. The PTA works dosety with the sthool and meeting5 are attended by the Prinapal and
Staff Mernbers.
The Trustees have a duty to identify and feview the risks to which the tharity is exposed and to
ensure appropriate controls are in pla￿ to provide reasonable assuran￿ against fraud and effor.
The Trustees continue to review the principal areas of the charitys operations in order to identify
risks that could affect day to day operations of the tharity. In the opinion of the tn￿ee5 the
thaiity has estsblished re￿urCeS and review systems which. under nomial conditions, should
allow these risks to be mitigated to an acceptable level in its day-to-day operations.
The objective of the charity is to advan￿ the educati(m of the pupils enrolled at the sthool.
In furtherance of this objective the charity may:
Develop more effertive relationships between the staff. parents and others associated
Promote sooal inclusion and charitable works
Engage in artivities whith 5UPPOrt the school and advance the education of the pupils

The Trustees have complied with the Duty In Section 17 of the Charities Act 2011 to have due
regard to guidan￿ publtshed by the Charities Commission, induding public benefit guidance.
The primary benefi(￿ries of the vfA's fundraising are the pupils of St Corngaifs Primary School.

In 2022123 the charity raised fvnds of £4.498 (as outlined in the Accounts) being the total receipts
for the year.

relationshtps between parents/stafflchildren and the local community.

The Financial Reportfor the year is detailed below. The main source of tncome of the charity is
from fundraising activities and donations.
The Charity does not have a speafic policy on Reserves, but the treasurer aims to maintain
enough money in the bank account to fund all forthcomin8 expenses. suth as floats and expenses
for events and any commitments to the school.
Charity regulations require the Tntstees to prepare accounts for eath finanoal year which show
the incoming resources aNI application of the resour￿ of the Charity in the year.
The Trustees are responsible for keepinE proper accounting records which di5dose with
reasonable accuracy at any time the financial position of the (hartty and to enable them to ensure
that accounts comply with the Charities Act 2011. They are also responsible for safeguarding the
assets of the charity and hen￿ for taking reasonable steps for the prevention and detection of
fraud and other irregularities.
