## **CHARIBALE OBJECTIVES** 

- To provide and promote facilities, activities and trips of a social, educational and recreational nature. 

- To improve conditions of life for young people and children without distinction of their gender, political, religious or other opinions. 

- To provides a safe, fun environment for children and young people to have fun and learn. 

- To promote culture, sports and other youth activities. 

- To promote and activate the sense of social service among the Donaghmore community. 

- To promote friendship, fellowship and natural understanding among the members of youth club. 

## **CHARITY ACTIVITIES AND REVIEW OF THE YEAR** 

St Patricks Youth Club operates on a part time basis and is affiliated to the Education Authority for Northern Ireland. 

At the 2023 AGM, Eamon Hamill  (Youth Leader in Charge), gave a report of the previous year’s highlights, with over 200 members registered for the Youth Club. Education Authority have funded  programmes under the Torrent Rural Youth Provision. Programmes have been shaped and influenced by thematic set out by EA. These include sessions in 

- Inclusion, diversity and equal opportunities 



- Participative structures 

- Living in safety and stability 

- Environment and climate 

- Health and wellbeing 

- Learning achieving 

Another successful summer scheme with a variety of indoor and outdoor activities as well as trips. 

## **CHARITY COMMISSIONS PUBLIC BENEFIT REQUIREMENT** 

The trustees in setting the objectives and planning the activities for the year have given careful consideration to the Charity Commission for Northern Irelands guidance on public benefit to ensure that the activities have helped to achieve the charity’s purposes and provide benefit to the beneficiaries. 

## **FINANCIAL REVIEW** 

The financial report for the year was presented at the 2023 AGM and accepted and approved by the trustees. Brian Robinson Accountancy Ltd has carried out a review of these accounts and has completed an Independent examiner’s report on the accounts. 

The Trustees can confirm that the charity does not hold any funds that were materially in deficit at the end of the year.
