Our purposes and objectives are to improve community infrastructure in the Sunnylands and
Woodburn estate and to develop projects that seeks to build capacity in the Local community
specifically amongyoung people, older people and those who are generally disadvantaged. We
seek to develop a range of initiatives that specifically target health and wellbeing in the Local
community and improve and encourage the use of green spaces in the Sunnylands &Woodburn
area.
Duringthe yearwe provided OCN PersonaL Development Qualification Level 1for 15 people.
OCN Personal & Soclal DevelopmentTraining for 20 people and OCN Mental HeaLth &
Wellbeing Seminars for local people within the community.

We started off the yearwith £381.37 in the b8nk. Duringthis financial year we secured funding
from the Education Authoritytotalling É5,985, Mid and East Antrim Council totalling £300, The
Northern IreL8nd Housing Executive totalLing £4,630 and a Clear Small Grant totalling £3,860.
We also received a donation totalling £116.00. The total receipts duringthe year amounted to
£14,891. The total payments made during the yearwas £15.262.25. Leaving us with a bank
balance at the year-end of £10.12.

I have carried out an independent examination of the accounts of Sunnylands &Woodburn
Community Development Group for the year ended 30 January 2025.

As the charity's trustees you are responsible forthe preparation of the accounts in 8ccordance
with the Charities Act (Nl) 2008.
It is my responsibility to:
examine the accounts under section 65 of the Charities Act
to follow the procedures laid down in the general directions given by the Charity
Commission under section 65 (9){b) of the Charities Act
state whether particular matters have come to my attention

I have examined your charity accounts as required under section 65 of the Charities Act and an
examination was carried out in accordance with the generaL directions given bythe Charity
Commission Nl under section 65 (9)(b) of the Charities Act.
The examination included a review of the accounting records kept by the charity and a
comparison of the accounts presented with those records. It also included consideration of any
unusual items or discLosures in the accounts and seeking explanations from you as charity
trustees concerning any such matters.
As the Independent Examiner my role is to state whether any material matters have come to my
attention giving cause to beLieve
