Introduction
The Trustees are pleased to present their report and financial statements for the year 1st July 2022 to 30 June
2023. The financial statements have been prepared on a 'Receipts and Payments, basis and the Trustees have had
regard to the Nl Charity Commission's Public Benefit Guidance.
Our Purpose5
To advance the prevention or relief of poverty in the UK, Ireland and Internationally.
To advance the relief of those in need by reason of age, youth, ill health, disability, financial hardship or other
disadvantage in Ireland. UK and particularly Internationally but not limite(J to emergency or overseas
aid/relief.
To advance the education of people in the UK, Ireland and Internationally through projerts and educational
programmes.
To advance such other charitable purposes as permitted bythe Charities Act (Northern IreSandl 2008- Part I,
Sertion 2
Constitution
The charity is formally established under a Trust Deed dated 5th September 1989.
Main Activities and Achievements
During the year, club members and associated organisations raised a total of £9,730 from a variety of events and
sources, including £1,325 from members, and our Friends of Rotary donations, £1,515 Nepal Project event, £1,770
Turkey/Syria Earthquake appeal, £2,306 Carol Singing, £395 GlobalGiving receipts, £1,240 Annual Programmes
Fund. The remaining funds derived from various donations, ballots, and investments.
