Minutes of Annual General Meeting of Kerala Association 2022-2023
Date: April 29[th] , Saturday, 2023 Venue: Lisneal College
The Annual General Meeting of the Kerala Association, Londonderry was held on April 29[th] , 2023. The Chairperson, Mrs. Ayona Joseph, chaired the meeting. Mrs. Jiby Clement, the outgoing Jt. Secretary presented the annual report for the year 2022-’23 in the presence of Secretary, Mrs. Chinnu Mathews. In the absence of the outgoing treasurer, Mr. Athul Abraham, Mrs. Ayona Joseph, submitted the audited account for the year 2022-’23.

Discussion about the projects conducted during 2022-’23 and selection of the new committee.
Projects – 2022-‘23:
During the financial year 2022-‘23, few multicultural programs were conducted along with other activities for Kerala Association members such as Onam celebrations, Fun day based on the traditional games, Arts and Crafts evening as ‘Little Minds’, Recreation and Raaganjali - an event organized during the New Year to bring the community together after the tragic loss of 2 young boys from our community, paid tribute to them with dimmed lights and songs by Mr. Micky Doherty and the AGM along with a seminar to raise awareness about Organ donation.
A member’s directory was also made available during this time.
Financial report:
A financial report of the activities of the past year was presented by Mrs. Ayona Joseph and accepted. Both the secretary’s report and finance report were presented and passed by all members with overwhelming majority at the AGM.
