Dear Trustees, 

On behalf of Orangefield Primary School, I would like to thank the Whinlands Trust for the donation of £1500 made in May 2024.  This, combined with the £6000 donated in November 2023, totalled a very generous £7500, for which our children, staff and parents are very thankful. 

In the academic year 2023/2024, we were able to facilitate a range of experiences for our pupils that we would otherwise have been unable to offer e.g. donations to towards residentials for our Year 6 and 7 pupils, early years visits to the farm, the Ulster folk and transport museum, and bus funding to outdoor events which our pupils would not have been able to participate in.  At present with the budget crisis in schools, and the increase in the cost of living, it is becoming more and more difficult to fund learning experiences beyond our own campus.  We are so appreciative of the Whinlands Trust for all of their support to benefit the pupils from Nursery through to Year 7. 

On behalf of the staff, pupils and parents of Orangefield Primary School, I would like to thank the Whinlands trustees for their commitment and partnership with us.
