## Activities

**Purposes:** The Charity’s purposes are to promote the benefit of the residents of the Conlig area     without distinction of age, sex, sexual orientation, race, ethnic identity, political or religious or other opinion by co-operating with the statutory authorities, voluntary and community organisations and the residents in a common effort to:  (1)	establish or secure the establishment of a Community Centre and maintain and manage it for activities promoted by the Charity;  (2)       provide facilities in the interests of social welfare for recreation and other leisure time occupations with the object of improving the conditions of life for residents in the area of benefit;  (3)       advance education and arts and culture;  (4)       promote health, healthy recreation and amateur sport;  (5)       relieve those in need by reason of youth, age, ill-health, disability, financial hardship or other disadvantage;  (6)	promote the protection, enhancement and improvement of the natural and built environment and the provision of public amenities;   (7)       promote good community relations, religious and racial harmony and equality and diversity;  (8)	promote such other charitable purposes as may from time to time be determined.
