Flnanclal reports are r￿feWed throughout the year and the year-end financial report Is approved by the
Trustees at the Easter Vestry. Total receFpts of £55.056 for the year ended 31 December 2023 were more than
total payrnents of £53,208, a surplus of £1,848, tTrweby IncYeasln8 the total cash funds held as at 31 December
2023 to £63,836. Carrlck Church also holds Investment fund5 of £I5,C￿.

The Trustees have rwlewed the plans for the year ahead and are satisfied that there are adequate funds In
place to ensure that the Parlsh can contlnue Its artTvlties. Furthermore, the Trustees hve cor6idered the

that they do not ueate a material uncethlnty thJt casts sl8nlflcant doubt upon the ParlsW5 ablllty to conttnue

Vestry members are the CharityTrustees.
All members of the Churth of Ireland who are over the age of 18 ind are elther resldent wlthin the parlsh or
Ilve elsewhere but have been accustomed members of the con8regation for at least thre months, mav
register as members of the general vestry of the parlsh, allowlr¥ t￿rn to attend and vote at meetln8s of the
general vestry and to stand for electlon to the Select Vestry. Meetlnss of the 8eneral vesty are heid at lea#
once a year. Select Vestry Is elected as part of thls General Vestry meetln8. The Select Vestry wlll hold
thelr posltlons for a perlod of one year. Sdect Vestry members may be rtrelected annually and there Is no Ilmlt
on the nwnber of terms whith may ￿ served.

The Select Vestry Is responslble for the day to day mana8ement of the parIS￿ The Selert Vertry conslsts of the
Rector servln8 in the parlsh, the churchwardens, the 8lebe wardens and generally not more than slxteen other
members of the General Vestry elected at the Easter Vestry.
The Select Vestry Is thalred by the IKumbent. Select Vestry members are responslble for makln8 dedslons on
matters of 8en•ral concern arKI Importance to the plrlsh IndiKlln8 deddlng on how pirlsh funds ar• to be
apF4led.
The Selert Vestry meet •t tlmes flxed ty the members or by the dlocésan synod. Spedal meetlngs may be
convened at any tlme by the chalrperson or the church wirdens. In 2023 the Select Vestry met on three
occaslors durln8 the year and the avera8e attendance was 87%.
