Objectlves and prlnclpal actlvltles
The prinaple objective is the promotion, develoKKftenl and support of the voluntsry and comrnunty
sector and in particular to those organisations offering yOLrth services and support to children and
young people resident in Ardoyne. Marrowbone and Oldpark areas of North 8elfast. The trustees
have paid due regard lo guidance issued by the Charity Commission for Northem Ireland in ensuring
the charity's activities meet the public benefit requiremenls.
Achievements and perfomiance
The trustees are satisfied that they were able to achieve their objectives and delivered a wide range
of activities developing the voluntary sector in Belfast
Financial revlew
The trustees are satisfied ￿th the financa81 posttion of the charity at the year ended 31 March 2023.
The charity has managed its incoming resources effectivety in the year under review.
The balan￿ of fijnds at 31 March 2023 is £176,38612022.. £186.559). During the year ended 31
March 2023 the tharity had a negative movement in funds of£10.173. The resulls of the year are fully
sel out in the Statement of Financial Activities.
Going concern
The truslees have ￿aSOnable expectations Ihat the charity can continue its operations for the
foreseeable ftjture. For this reason, they ccffitinue to adopt the going principle in preparing the
ffinancial statements.
Rlsk rnanagement
The trustees have assessed the major risks to which the charitable company is ex￿sed. lo thc6e
relating lo the operdtions and finances of the company a￿1 are satisfied that systems and procedures
are in place to mtiigale exposure lo major risks.

The trustees are reswnsible for preparing th8 Truste8s' Annual Rep(Yt and th8 Financial Stslernents
in accordance vrith applicable Law and regulations.
Cornpany law fequires the tnjstees lo prepare finanual statements for each financial year. Under that
law the directors and the trustees musl not approve the financial ststements unless they are satisfied
that they giv8 a true and fair view ofthe stsle ofthe affairs of lh8 charitable company. In preparing these

The trustees are responsible for keeping adequale accounting records that are sufficient to show and
explain the charitsble company s transactions and disdose wtih reasonable accuracy al any lime the
financial position of Ihe charitable company and enable them lo ensure that the financial statements
comply with the Companies Act 2006. They are also responsible for safeguarding the assets of the
company and for taking reasonable steps for the wevention and deteC￿n of fraud and other
irregularities.
