Minutes

Leanne McAnespey – gave Chairperson’s address to parents and staff

Vicki Wilson gave a breakdown of the Financial Accounts as of the 31[st] October 2022.

The main source of income is from the Department of Educations, Parental

contributions & Gift Aid, along with a number of grants, that Angela secured

throughout the last year. Some grand decisions were still pending.

Vicki gave a break down on how some of the awarded monies were spent to make

upgrades to the playschool, and supplies.

A special mention of thanks to Catherine McBrien who completes the accounts &

payroll for Kindertee.

 Secretary’s report

Roisin Fitzpatrick gave an overview from the last year and a half on

Fundraising

Another successful year of fundraising through the Christmas Calendar,

Christmas Fair, clothing collections, and the end of year sponsor walk. Details of

the totals can be found on the financial report. All amounts raised are reflected

in our financial report.

Policies

All policies with Kindertee were reviewed and adapted as necessary by the

committee throughout the year. The trust inspection was due to take place this

month, however this has now been rescheduled to the new year.

Training

All new staff have all completed Safeguarding training and First Aid Training.

Angela has been guiding and developing the new staff members across the last

few months.

Angela has provided training for all new members of staff to Kindertee

Upgrades that have taken place in Playschool

New iPads have been purchased and now up and running for the staff and

children. These were purchased using the £2000 Windmill grant money and the

further £1000+ that was raised from the sponsored walk, which was fantastic!

Thank you to all the parents, children and businesses who supported with this.
