OBJECTIVES
AND ACTIVITIES
The charitable purpose of the Church of Ireland is the advancement ofreligion.
The principal function oftheLearmount Parish Church isto support theadvancement ofthe Christianrefigion
by promoting, through thework oftheParishChurch
the wholemission
of the Church, pastoral, evangelistic, social and ecumenical. Being open to and engaging with socie y as a whole and offeringsupport
for those
needing
helpare fundamental tothepractical delivery ofthe benefits ofChristianity.

ACHIEVEMENTS, PERFORMANCE& PUBLIC BENEFIT
TheChurch on aweekly basisweekly throughout theyearprovides the opportunity forthe entire community
toworshipaccordingto the ritesand ceremoniesof the Church ofIreland. in tandem withthis theChurch provides spiritual
emotional and social support to all sections of the community Irrespective ofage, race, redgious or sexue! orientation. Thisis
achieved pastorally by theclergy and laity alike whether privately or through the outreach of youth work,pensioner
clubs,wornen's
and
mensfellowship groups. The Church is governed byand adheresto theConsiliution oftheChurch cf Irelandand Isgoverned toobythethe Church
of Ireland
Code of Good Practic , Safeguarding Trust, which ensures thatyou g people and vuinenable adults are protected whils engaging

FINANCIAL REVIEW
The Parish held net cash fundsat year end of£48,832.77 (2024-£49,559.41),
GOING CONCERN
The Trustees have reviewed budgets for the year ahead andare satisifiedthat there areadequate fundsin placetoensurethat the Parish can continue its activities and the
financial statements for tha year ended 31st December 2025 can be signed off a8a going concem.
STRUCTURE, GOVERNANCE ANDMANAGEMENT
Governing Document and Constitution ofthe Charity
Chapter 111 of the Constitution of the Church of Ireland governs Parishes and Parochial Organisations.
The Church ia a registered charity - Charity Registration number NIC104964
. The Select Vestry members are theCharity Trustees.
Appointment
of SelectVestry(Trustees)
All members ofthe Church of iretand who are over the age of 18 and are elther resident within the parish or five elsewhere but have been accustomed members of the
congregation for atleastthree months, may register es members of the general vestry of the parish, allowing them toattend and vate at meetings ofthe general vestry
andto stand for election fo the select vestry. Meetings ofthe general vestry are held at least onca a year. TheSelect Vestry is elected as part of this General Vestry meeting.
The Select Vestry will hold their positions for a period of one yeer. Select Vestry members may de re-elected annually and there is no limit on the number of terms which may
be served.
Orgenisational Structure
The select vestry is responsible for thedayto day managementofthe parish. The select vestry consists of the member ofthe clergy serving inthe perish, the church wardens,
the glebe wardens and other members of the general vestry elected attheGeneral Veatry.
COMPLIANCEOFTHE PUBLICBENEFIT
! The Parish has givencareful consideration to the Charity Commission for Northem ireland's guidance on public benefit toensure that activites entered into during theyear
have helped to achieve the Parish's objectives and activites, as wellasproviding
public be efit.
STATEMENT OfTRUSTEES'RESPONSIBILITIES
The trustees are responsible forpreparing theTrustees’Report andthe Statement of Receipts and Paymenta and Statement of Assets andLiebiities in accordance with
applicable
law and regulations.
‘The law eppiicabie to charities in Northem ireland withincomeof less than £250,000 requires the trustees to prepare a Statement of Receipts and Payments anda Statement
of Assets and Liabilities for each financial year.
The Trustees are responsible for keeping accounting records thal are sufficieni to show and explain the Parish’s transactions and disclose with reasonable accuracy ai any
time the assets and babiities of the Parish. They are also responsible for safeguarding the assets of the Parish and hence for taking reasonable steps for the prevention and
