TRUSTEE ANNUAL REPORT FORM
AII GIRLGUIDING Ulster Charities are governed by the
Royal Charter and Bye-laws.
The purpose of each of these charities is to educate girls and
young women to help them develop emotionally, mentally,
physically and spiritually so that they can make a positive
contribution to their community and the wider world.

10 girls in total took part in the unit activities with 8 attending
each week. Meetings continued in smaller premises due to
hall refurbishment. During the year the girls completed two
interest badges (Crime Prevention and Star Gazing), I
challenge badge (Christmas around the world) and the
Brownie Programme Adventure badges suitable for their stage
in Guiding. Girls also took part in a Baby Shower for one of
their leaders and attended an event at The Ulster Hall entitled
An Evening with Tim Peake, this trip was organised as the
girls had previously taken part in The Rocket Science project,

growing seeds which had been taken to space by Tim Peake.
During warmer weather, one meeting was held outside to
give the girls extra room to run around. We went to Ornleau
Park in Belfast where we played parachute games. We
fmished the year with a Beauty and the Beast themed over
night stay at Lorne Estate which 6 girls attended.
All Trustees have had regard to the Charity Commission's
Public Benefit Requirement statutory guidance.

The overall financial position of the unit is good with no
outstanding debts and a small (£94) reserve.
