A summary of the Charity’s main activities to further its purposes for the public benefit and the main achievements in the year
We started 2025 with 8 brownies and finished the year with 11 girls. We started the year making personalised calendars and games. Throughout the year we completed lots of crafts for times including Valentines day, Mother’s day, Easter and Christmas. The girls completed their skills for my future theme badge and are currently working towards their take action theme badge. For this they have completed tasks and challenges working as a group and individually. We also had an evening to celebrate Chinese New Year and Thinking Day where we remember our founder and Remembrance day. We attended our Thinking Day service and paraded in the town for Remembrance Day. Other events included making pancakes for Pancake Tuesday, a PJ & movie night and a disco and pizza night. We also had a visit from a mobile farm which the girls really enjoyed. In May we and joined with another unit went on a residential to Duntuce Guide House. During the weekend we did Surfing at East Strand and went to The Jet centre for ten pin bowling and some free time to enjoy. The girls also enjoyed campfire songs and making smores around the campfire. There was no harm flowing from the Charities purpose and there was no private benefit.
