BASIS OF FINANCIAL STATEMENTS
As the total income of the Congregation is less than £250,000 the congregation have elected in accordance with the
provislons In The Charities (Auounts and Report Regulations (Northern Ireland) 201510 prepar8 118 ac¢ount8 on a
receipts and payments basis.
FUND ACCOUNTING
Endowment Funds are fund$, th8 capital of which must be retsined or at Ihe congreg?tlon'$ discretion,. the in¢ome
provisions derived from the endowment 1$ to ba used either as restricted or unwstricted income funds depending on
the purpose for which tha endowment was established in Ihe first place.
Restricted funds ¢omprise donations orgrants for a Spocific purpose as specified by Ihe donor.
Unrestricted lunds are Income funds whi¢h are to ba spent on the congregation's general purposes.
