A summary of the Charity’s main activities to further its purposes for the public benefit and the main achievements in the year

The average membership for the year was 7 girls. Throughout the year girls had the opportunity to make decisions for themselves regarding programme planning and activities gaining valuable skills for life.

All girls gained Skills Builders and Theme Awards from the Girlguiding programme. Other activities included, Thinking Day celebration (including wearing Guide uniform to school), wet felting session making mothers’ day gifts, cooking, games and crafts.

Out of the hall girls took part in the Girlguiding Tyrone Outdoor Challenge. We also attended the GG Tyrone trip to the Cinema at Christmas. Girls joined with Guides and Scouts from Clogher District for a visit to Mid Ulster Council Offices in Dungannon for an insight into Council life and where some challenging questions were posed to Cllr Meta Graham and Council Staff

Notable success for the Unit was one of our guides winning the Girlguiding Tyrone craft challenge – to repurpose an item of clothing into something useful – a shirt was made into an apron.

We had a weekend away to Cladagh Glen Scout Centre when girls enjoyed the great Outdoors in river walks and scavenger hunts. They also took part in wet caving, hydrobiking and a spot of shopping too,

Our aim is to help each girl reach her full potential while having fun in a safe girl-only space.

There was no harm flowing from the Charity’s purposes and there was no private benefit.
