The company Is a private company limited by guarantee registered in the UK. The address of the
reglstered office is 808 Main Street, Bangor. Co Down, BT20 5AE.
Statement of Tnistges responslbllltles
The rules of the Charity require the Trustees to prepare accounts for each flnanclal year whlch glve 8
true and falr vlew of the slate of affalrs of the Ch8rlty and the surplus or deflclt for that perlod. In
preparlng those accounts the Twstees are requlred to:
select sultable accounting policies and then apply Ihem consistently;
make Judgem8nls and esllmates that are r88sonable and prudent: and
prepare the accounts on the golng concern basis unless it is Inapproprlate to
presume that the Charlty wlll contlnue in business
The Trustees are respnslble for malnlalnlng proper accounting records under Sectlon 83 of the
Charltles Act (Northern Ireland) 2008 whlch are sufficient lo show and explaSn all the Charitys
transactlos., whlch are such as to dl8close wlth reasonable accuracy the financlal posltion of ihe Charfty;
8nd whlch enable the Trusiees to ensure that the accounts prepared comply with section 64(1) of the
Act. They are also responslble for safeguardlng the assets of the Charlty. Includlng the malntenance of
adequate procedure8 to prevent and detecl fraud and other irregularities.

These accounts have been prepared on the going concern basls, noiwlthstandlng the faci thal the
Gompany has incurred net outgolng reources in the prlor y88r. THe trustees have consldered the future
cashflow of the company and have a reasonable expectation that the company will have adequate
resources to contlnue In operallonal existence for the foreseeable luture. Accordlngly the trustees
consider It is appropriate that the company wlll conlinue as a going concern.

All Income Is accounted for when the Ch8rity has entitlement, there is certalnty of receipt and the
amount Is measurable.

Deflned contrfbutlon plans
Contributions to defined contribution plans are recognised as an expense in the period In which the
related service is provided. Prepaid contritxjtlons are recognised as an asset to the extent that the
prepayment will lead to a reduction in future payments or a cash refund.
When contributions are not expected to be settled wholly bvithin 12 months of the end of the reporting
date In which the employees render the related service. the liability Is measured on a discounted
present value basis. The unwinding of the discount is recognised in finance costs in profit or loss in the
perlod In which it arises.
Account5ng Conventlon
The accounts areprepared under the historic cost convention. They comply with the requlrements of
statement of Recommended Practice 'Accounting and Reporting by Charities, (SORP) and are in
accordance with applicable accounting standards.
General accumulated funds
General accumulated funds are unnrestricted funds avallable to the Charity for its general purposes
and includes funds deslgnated by the Charity for a particular purpose. the use of such funds remains at
the discretion of the Charitls trustees.
Restrlced Funds
Restricted funds are funds subject to restrictions imposed by the donor or by the specific terms of the
appeal under which the funds are raised. The restrictions are binding upon the Company.
Governance, management & admlnlstration
Governance. management and administratlon expenses relate to the whole of the Charitys activities
and 8 proportion of these charges are allocated to expendiiure headings on a basis that is consistent
with the use of the resources.
