## **TRUSTEE ANNUAL REPORT FORM** 

3[rd] Holywood Guides  is registered as a group with Girlguiding Ulster. All Girlguiding Ulster Charities are governed by the Royal Charter and Bye-laws. 

The purpose of the charity is to educate girls and young women to help them develop emotionally, mentally, physically and spiritually so that they can make a positive contribution to their community and the wider world.

A summary of the Charitie’s main activities to further its purpose for the public benefit and the main achievements in the year 

3[rd] Holywood Guides  is a group of girls and young women aged 10-14 year olds who meet 38 weeks a year on a Wednesday night from 7.30 -9 pm. There were 52 girls when the unit closed for the summer on 30th June 2023. 

The girls completed many badges, cooking on the open fire, taking part in the district event and many more adventure throughout the year. 

During the year we had trips to the Army Camp, Clip and Climb, Pantomime, Cinema, Golf and enjoyed residentials at Lorne and Crawfordsburn Scout Centre.  They fundraised the annual Lorne Walk. 



A statement that the Trustees have had regard to the Commission’s Public Benefit requirement statutory guidance. 

All the Trustees of  3[rd] Holywood Guides  are aware of the Commission’s Public Benefit requirement statutory guidance. 

A review of the Charity’s financial position at the end of the year. 

3[rd] Holywood Guides  has a surplus of £463.49 in the bank. This will allow the group to open again in September 2023 and fund activities next year, 

The group has no assets. 

Details of any fund held by the Charity that was materially in deficit at the end of the year and steps taken by the Charity Trustees to eliminate the deficit. 

None
