**Purposes:** 3.	THE OBJECTIVE OF CUMANN CHLUAIN ÁRD IS:  (1)	 To provide formal and informal learning opportunities for those who wish to learn Irish;  (2)	To provide training in the teaching of Irish for those who wish to teach it;  (3)	To form and strengthen connections with Gaeltacht areas throughout the country;  (4)	To promote among its members aspects of Irish culture which pertain to the written and spoken word; and  (5)	To facilitate, where possible, all other aspects of Irish cultural heritage, including music, dance and sport.   IS É IS AIDHM DO CHUMANN CHLUAIN ÁRD:   (1)	deiseanna foirmeálta agus neamhfhoirmeálta foghlama a chur ar fáil daofa siúd ar mian leo an Ghaeilge a thabhairt leo.  (2)	oiliúint i dteagasc na Gaeilge don phobal a chur ar fáil daofa siúd ar mian leo í a thabhairt uathu.   (3)	nascanna a thógáil agus a neartú le Gaeltachtaí na tíre.  (4)	na gnéithe sin de chultúr na hÉireann a bhaineann leis an fhocal labhartha agus scríofa a chothú i measc a chuid ball.   (5)	gach gné eile d’oidhreacht chultúrtha na nGael a éascú san áit ar féidir, gnéithe ar nós an cheoil, an damhsa agus an spóirt.
