(2)\tPromote health and well-being and relieve those in need by reason of youth, age, ill-health, disability, addiction, financial hardship or other disadvantage by: \t(i)\tproviding practical support, advice, information, training, counselling and therapeutic activities; \t(ii)\tfacilitating inclusion of those at risk of being socially isolated; (iii)\tadvocating on behalf of and acting as a collective voice for older people and other groups in society who suffer disadvantage; (iv)\tproviding safety care and support services to those most vulnerable.  (3)\tPrevent or relieve poverty by providing appropriate support and training services and a signposting service.
