Rev Mark Lennox Roberta Armstrong Claire Kerr Ruth Carroll Louise McKenna Julie Jardine Gillian Whitehead Melvin Nesbilt David Courtney Maire Coaller We have consulted the Northern Ireland statutory guidan on public benefit requirement and consider we have compiled with il in full We are an organisation for youth in Killyman area and our charitable purpose is to promote the -.evelopment of young people to achieve their full physical social inlellectual and spiritual potential os individuals responsible citizens and members of their local national and international communty. The Group s governing documents are those of the Scout Association and we follow the policy organisation and rules of the Scout Association. Scouting exists to actively engage and support young people in their personal development, empowering them to make positive contributions to society The sections meet weekly through the winter months. Their activities follow those social educational, sporting, spiritual and craft activilies promoted through the Scouting Association pro9rammes for Beavers, Cubs, Scouts and Explorers. We also support the Squirrel Drey. The Beavers worked hard on their badges includiiig their Space badge when they looked for stais ip. the church car park and were able to see the plokngh and a shooting star. As part of their Disability awarpness badge they had a visit from a guide dog. They enjoyed a trip to the local lire slation and joined with the squirrels for a Halloween party and also took part in the Remberance Day Parade. The Cdbs also worked on their badges including the Homehelp badge, book reading and global issues They enjoyed a trip to the pantominie in Armagh whefe they were able to meet the cast and take photos. Our numbers in the Sections taken from our Annual Census dated March 2019 are beavers 16. Cubs 24 and Scouts 1making a total of 41 members Scout and Explorer Sections are CLirrently not functioning until replacement leaders have been recruited We value and appreciate the time and effort our volunteer leaders give to running the Sections and enriching the lives of our young people through example and by promotion of the goals of the Scout Association.
Our Charitable activities are funded by membeis subscriptions. Parish Church donations and a -ducation Authority Grant Funds are relained In Killyman Scout Group bank account and two signatories are required for all payments. Signed on behaff of the charity s trustees.
