The Trustees have studied the N.I. Charity Commission’s statutory guidance on the Public benefit requirement and consider that they have complied with it in full.
STRUCTURE AND MANAGEMENT
66[th] Squirrels is a stand alone organisation which is a feeder organisation for the 66[th] Scout Group. Its membership is limited to young people aged four to six years of age living in the wider Belfast area. 66[th] Squirrels is an affiliated member of the Northern Ireland Squirrel Association. 66[th] Squirrels meets on Wednesday evenings between September and June.
66[th] quirrels is managed in accordance with its constitution by members of its management committee. The management committee met 3 times during the year.

PURPOSES
The drey is established to promote the development of young people in achieving their full physical, intellectual, social and spiritual potential as individuals, as responsible citizens and as members of their local, national and international communities.

PUBLIC BENEFIT
During the year the squirrels took part in a full and balanced programme of active games, craft, stories, songs, visits and talks in order to educate and develop them physically, intellectually, emotionally, socially and spiritually. Parents reported that their Squirrels looked forward to meetings with 14 Squirrels on the books between January and June with more joining in September. The Squirrels completed 2 smile badges – I’m Learning and I’m Active - and they also took part in a Sponsored Teddy Toddle to raise money for the Church Building Fund, during which they raised £263 for Cregagh Presbyterian Church.

Financial Review
Income for the year totalled £750. After expenses of £436 there was a surplus for the year of £314. Cash at the bank and in hand totalled £906
