Annual Report
The girls this year were involved with Duke of Edinburgh’s award and for their Volunteer Section they helped out in the various local Rainbow and Brownie Units. For their expedition they did a practice expedition in the Mournes and for the real thing they went to the Antrim Hills.
During meetings they did some cooking, making pancakes with the Guides for Pancake Tuesday and they also made Mocktails. They also worked for some badges including the new Alcohol Awareness Badge and started on the Outdoor badges,
They also played Captainball with the Guides in practice for the County Captainball finals.
They took part in several church services — Remembrance Day and St Patrick’s Day. They also took part in the District Carol Service which was held in Holy Trinity Parish Church.
