  \t(b)\tto advance public awareness and the education of the general\t\tpublic in relation to lesbian and bisexual issues history and \t\t\tculture;    (c)\tto advance education among funders, researchers, voluntary \tand community organisations and local and statutory agencies \twho work with, or provide services to lesbian and bisexual \twomen in the area of benefit by providing research and \tinformation in order to assist in the promulgation of effective \tpolicies, initiatives and good practice affecting the beneficiaries \tand to disseminate the useful results of such \tresearch for the \tpublic \tbenefit;   (d) \tto promote human rights, equality and diversity in pursuit of the \telimination of discrimination in relation to lesbian and bisexual \twomen;    (f)\tto promote or assist in the promotion, facilitation and \torganisation of community capacity building programmes and \tprojects for the benefit of the beneficiaries who have need of \tsuch assistance as a result of their youth, age, disability or \tinfirmity, or social and economic circumstances in an effort to \tincrease their abilities, skills, self-confidence and participation in \tsocial, cultural, political and economic life;
