ANNUAL REPORT Year ended 31 MARCH 2023 Trustees, Annual Re ort for the ear ended 31 March 2023 The Trustees present the Annual Report and Statements of Receipts and Payments and Assets and Liabilities for Church Hill Community Development Association for the year ended 31 March 2023. Structure Governance and Mana ement Church Hill Communrty Development Association is an unincorporated Association. The Association was formed on 25 September 2006 and its goveming instrument is its Constitution. The Charity is administered by its offIr$. Officers are sought according to Ihe needs of the Charity by an Executive Committee consisting of a minimum of five members. Ob"ectives and Activltles The objects of the Association are: To provide a communal meeting place; To promote education, training and employment opportunities; To promote the health and wellbeing of the beneficiaries., To provide recreational and leisure activities; To promote awareness of the cultural heritage (including history, heritage, language, literature, folklore and music) of the area., To promote social inclusion; To provide a safe, healthy environment for the beneficiaries; To promote rural development. Princl al Activl The principal activity of the Association is the promotion of benefit for the people resident in the designated area of Loughgall and surrounding districts in Co Armagh. Achievements and Perfomiance During the year the Charity held a number of community events in support of a fundraising appeal. Charitles Commlssloner of Northern Ireland - Statement of Com 1Sance Church Hill Community Development Association has given careful consideration to the Charity commission for Northem Ireland's guidance on public benefit to ensu that the activities entered into help to achieve the charity's objectives and activities, as well as providing public benefit.

Encourage communication between groups and provide advi and information to our beneficiaries regarding issues which affect our area and people. Promotion of community involvement in the area to develop leadership skills with our youth and develop the knowledge and skills of our members. Provision of a more stable, safer neighbourhood by developing strong, positive relations between different people within the community. Increased education and skills for participants. Increase social interaction and inclusion other members of the local community. Access to further training and employmenl opportunities. Promotion of religious events such as missions. carol services and harvest services. The charity's beneficiaries are mainly (but not restricted to) inhabrtants of the local area of Loughgall, and to those visiting the area. Flnancial revlew The Charity's surplus for the year amounted to £176 (2022- surplus £150). Cash funds at the year end were £383 consisting of unrestricted funds of £(1,243) and restricted funds of £1,626. The Trustees have not set a minimum level of reserves to be maintained by the Charity due to the nature of the charity's activities and minimal day to day running costs. Goin Concern The Trustees have reviewed the position of the Charity and are of the opinion that the Charity will continue in its activities and Ihe accounts should be prepad on a going concern basis. ststement of Trustees, Res onslbllltles The Trustees are responsible for preparing the Trustees, Report, the Slatement of Receipts and Payments and the Statement of Assets and Liabilities in accordance with applicable law and regulations. The law applicable lo those charities in Northem Iland with income of less than £250,000 requires the Trustees to prepare a Statement of Receipts and Payments and a Statement of Assets and Liabilities for each financial year.

They are also responsible for safeguarding the assets of the Charity and hence taking reasonable steps for the prevention and detection of fraud and other irregularities.
