INDEPENDENT EXAMINER'S REPORT TO THE TRUSTEES OF HUNTINGTON'S DISEASE ASSOCIATION
NORTHERN IRELAND
I report on the financial statements of the company for the year ended 31 March 2024 which are set out
on pages 8 and 9.
This report 15 made solely to the company's Trustees. as a body in accordance with section 6513llal of the
Charities Act Northern Ireland 2008 and regulations made under section 66 of the Act. My work has been
undertaken so that I might state to the company's Trustees those matters l am required to state to them
in an I ndependent examiner's report and for no other purpose. To the fullest extent permitted by law, I
do not accept or assume responsibility to anyone other than the company and the company's Trustees as
a body, for my work of this report.

are responsi ble for the preparation of the f inancial statements in accordance with the requirments of the
Companies Act 2006. H3ving satisfied myself that the company is not subject to audit under company law,

Basis of Independent Examiner's report
I have examined your charity accounts as required under section 65 of the Charities Act and my
exam ination was carried out in accordance with the general directions given by the Charity Comm ission
for Northern Ireland under section 65{9){bl of the Charities Act.
My examination included a review of the accounting records kept by the charity and a comparison of the
accounts presented with those records. It has also included consideration of any unusual items or
disclosures in the accounts, and seeking explanations from you as charity trustees concerni ng any such
matters.

My role is to state whether any material matters have come to my attention giving me cause to believe..
That accounting records were not kept in accordance with section 63 of the Charities Act
That the accounts do not accord with those accounting records
That the accounts do not comply with the accounting requirements of the Charities Act
