MARLACOO RURAL ASSOCIATION has been established to:
To advance Community Developrnent for the benefrts of the
Inhabltants of the Marlacoo area and its environs (hereafter called
the area of benefrt") without distinction of age, sex, race• political
religious or other oplnlon. To work in partnership with the
statutory authorities, voluntary organisations and Inhabitants
In a common effort to advance educatlon aftd to provide
faclllties: promote health, soclal welkbein& social welfare,
recreation or other leisure time occupatlon with the objert of
Improving the quality of life for the sald inhabitants.
To advance knowledge and appreciation of the Ulster-scots
Langua8e and culture and to encourage understanding and
acceptance of all indigenous cuttures to the area of benefit.
Durine the year we organised a number of activities aimed at meeting our
objectives. These included: Social events, wellbeing infomiation especlally after the
Covid-19 Epldemic to help with gettln8 people back out again who had suffered in the
Aftermath of this Outbreak and try to get back to normality again.
The retained profits at the end of the year amounted to £706.62
