different Arts arid Crafls siicli as Inaklng clay bunnles ond Easter decoratlons, a Jumping Clay
workshop, Promlse bead keyrlngs, Inade Mother's Day cards, rnade crowns to celebrate the
Coronation, made and decorated buns, and also made Fajltas. When dolng any cooking or
bak'ing, the Birls are aware that some glrls have dletary needs whlch are f elated to religious
beliefs. Science & Dlscovery Included looklng at dlfferent Instrurnents and playing tunes with
Boomwhackers, maklng and experlmentlng wlth Bubble wand$. Memory Hoops, looking at
hydratlon and the Importance of drlnklng enough water eath day, decorating their own vfiter
bottles and marking measurements to show quantlty ofwater consumed. In line with Have
Adventures Theme and the Outdoors the glrls had a go at bullding fires In firepits outside and
toasting marshmallows. They took turns In strlklng a match and lighting tealights whilst looking
at Fire Safety. Campfire songs were sung and the usual games were played to use up lots of
energyl Interest Badges completed included growing a hyacinth and learning a language, some
girls chose to look at Makaton, others did Spanish, French and other languages.
All artivites completed during Unit meeting time counted towards a number of interest badges &
Skills Builders. Some tasks were sent home to be completed.
There was no harm flowing from the Charities purposes and that there was no private benefit.
