The lThding activities of the retsil operation continued to dwing 2024 allowing us to continue to work with
our existing paTtneTs, Blythswo(xl RoD)atiia, Blythswood S¢rbAa and our major partsler Blythswood Care (UK).
During the fmancial year 2024 the cbarity financed and sent out I 1,110 filled Shoeboxffj which were delivered
via the Blythswood Car¢ Sho¢ BoX Appeal to project partllers in Ronwi4 for distribution to groups of poor and
n¢edy ¢hildren alld adults in those ¢ountri&8. These boxes were collected frorn individual supporters, schools,
churches, and other groups in the Provin¢¢, Tkney w￿¢ wllert¢d and deliveffd to Ballyclar¢ Hub, our
sorting centre, wh¢r¢ ¢aGh box was thrk¢d and repack¢d by ow ¢xcellent group of vohmteers and stsff who
rccoided many hours of voluntary time. The value of goods in these shoeboxes Was approxim&tely £277,750.
Thity two boxes of blankets were aEso SCDt out with Shoebox load8 or distributed to lo¢ai charAties.

We continue to impTove al￿ develop our sbop operation and eight shops continue to operate in the Province.
A dedicated body of volullteers continue to be a vitsl part of our organisation at the Ballyclare Hub sorting
shoeboxes, in the sljops throughout th¢ Provitice. Th¢ approximate value of their contribution for the year is
estijtiated to be more that £115,080.

people ar¢ oloth¢d and fed at ll)any of our 5UPPOrt¢d faciliti¢s. Some of the facilities have bellcfitted frojn
building teams who have made improvements to the fabric of the building5, but all of this wm* is undertaken to
improv¢ th¢ fa¢ilities so that all those who attend will benefit from the improvements and have better conditions
in wbi¢h to leans eat and mix socially with others thereby inwrovujg their quality of life.

Tbe charAty is foujthed on the basis of Cknistiall belkefs. The trustees do not consider it approwwte to ietaiu
sutpluse4 but have faith that the needs of the charity Mryll be met as aTAse. On a day to day basis, the Ch￿lty
has established a policy whereby the chaTRty llAaiutains sufficient l¢v¢ls of to Continue CU￿ellt ￿tiVitieS for
2 to 3 months before utilising tb¢ r¢ll￿11￿ ullr¢stTi¢t¢d reserves to fund th¢ OTgaJJis3tion for up to 6 months
based on tb¢ Qurrent years totsl expenditure.
Th¢ ITUStees consider that reserves maintained at this level will enswe that, in the event of a significant drop in
income, thry will be able to continue th¢ clwity's ¢urr¢nt a¢tivities while consideration is given to Way5 in
