**This template is to provide guidance to units who are completing a Trustee Annual Report for the NI Charity Commission.  If you do not wish to use this form please ensure that the headings in this guidance are followed when completing a Trustee Annual Report.** 

**All Girlguiding Ulster Charities are governed by the Royal Charter and Bye-laws. The Purpose of each of these Charities is to educate girls and young women to help them develop emotionally, mentally, physically and spiritually so that they can make a positive contribution to their Community and the wider world.**

## **A summary of the Charity’s main activities to further its purposes for the public benefit and the main achievements in the year** 

Regular weekly meetings held on a Tuesday evening in Bloomfield Presbyterian Church halls. Activities from the Charities and Aviation badges and the Make Change and Explore skill builders were built into the programme to allow the girls to achieve the Take Action and Have Adventures Theme Awards. Some of the other activities that the girls enjoyed doing over the course of the year were, doing craft and baking activities, playing games, the opportunity to go on trips out and hearing a story from the bible each week. Several of the girls also got the opportunity to participate on a weekend away in the Brownie House in Lorne, where great fun was had by all. 

There was no harm flowing from the Charities purposes and that there was no private benefit.

All Trustees of the Charity are aware of the Commission’s Public Benefit requirement statutory guidance. 

## **A review of the Charity’s financial position at the end of the year** 

Bank Balance at 1[st] February 2023 = £1,957.49, Cash Balance at 1[st] February 2023 = £509.70, Overall Financial position at 1[st] February 2023 = £2,467.19 (Bank + Cash). 

Bank Balance at 31[st] January 2024 = £2,358.49, Cash Balance at 31[st] January 2024 = £30.30, Overall Financial position at 31[st] January 2024 = £2,388.79 (Bank + Cash).
