**All Girlguiding Ulster Charities are governed by the Royal Charter and Bye-laws.** 

**The Purpose of each of these Charities is to educate girls and young women to help them develop emotionally, mentally, physically and spiritually so that they can make a positive contribution to their Community and the wider world.**

## **A review of the Charity’s financial position at the** 

## **end of the year** 

There were 21 Girls in the Unit. We continued following the GGUK programme. We worked on two Skills Builders: Skills for My Future and Make Change. For the later we joined with the Rainbows and Brownies for a Charity Coffee Evening. We raised over £750 for charity. The guides chose Children in Need. We tested a new badge for GGUK- Bookworm 

We played Captain Ball and took part in an Interunit Competition. Some of the girls worked on badges: Mixology,Confectioneryand one girl gained her Bronze Award and one girl gained her Gold Award the highest award that can be gained in the Guide Section. 

We finished off the summer term with a residential at Lorne Estate when some completed Have Adventures Skills Builder. Several of the girls made their Guide Promise at our “Special Tree” 

There was no harm flowing from the Charities purposes and that there was no private benefit. State in this box the overall financial position, if relevant include details of any debts or any reserves policy. Include current and previous financial figures for income and expenditure, these should be taken form the receipts and payments accounts.
