## **Trustee Annual Report** 

This template is to provide guidance to units who are completing a Trustee Annual Report for the NI Charity Commission.  If you do not wish to use this form please ensure that the headings in this guidance are followed when completing a Trustee Annual Report. 

**All Girlguiding Ulster Charities are governed by the Royal Charter and Bye-laws.** 

**The Purpose of each of these Charities is to educate girls and young women to help them develop emotionally, mentally, physically and spiritually so that they can make a positive contribution to their Community and the wider world.**

**A summary of the Charity’s main activities to further its purposes for the public benefit and the main achievements in the year** 

We returned to face to face meetings in mid November 2021 following the closure due to the Covid 19 Pandemic. 80% of the programme is based on the Girlguiding Programme . We worked through the Make Change Skills builder various Unit meeting activities and the guides completed their Backwoods cooking badge.There were eleven girls in the unit. In addition they did crafts such as Tie Dying, Jewellry Making and Sewing. They celebrated Christmas, The Chinese New Year, The Queens 70[th] Jubilee and Girlguiding Ulsters Centenary. Five of the girls attended the Centenary Camp in August 2022. There was no harm flowing from the Charities purposes and that there was no private benefit. 

## **A statement that the Trustees have had regard to the Commission’s Public Benefit requirement statutory guidance** 

The Trustees are aware and have regard to this Guidance. 

## **A review of the Charity’s financial position at the end of the year** 

The Bank Balance on 31[st] August 2022 was £741.02. Expenses for craft materials, badges, books and camp materials had not been taken in this period and will show in next financial year. 

**No Funds were in deficit.**
