Trustee Annual Report Form- Template
This template is to provide guidance to units who are completing a Trustee Annual Report for the Nl
Charity Commission. If you do not wish to use this form please ensure that the headings in this
guidance are followed when completing a Trustee Annual Report.
All Girlguiding Ulster Charities are governed by the Royal Charter and Bye-laws.
The Purpose of each of these Charities is to educate girls and young women to help them develop
emotionallyi mentally, physically and spiritually so that they can make a positive contribution to
their Community and the wider world.

Girlguiding
A summary of the ChariWs main activities to further its purposes for the public benefit and the
main achievements in the year
The Brownies had three themed evenings during the year. Valentines, Self- defence and I'm a
celebrity. A qualified Judo coach took the self-defence evening.
The girls enjoy crafts and made beaded bracelets for Thinking Day, Tea pot chocolate cards for
Mothers Day, chick photo frames for Easter, masks for Halloween, Salt dough poppies for
Remembrance Sunday, painted pots and planted Spring bulbs and made a table decoration for
Christmas.
The Brownies love to bake and we made Snowmen, birds nests, baked biscuits and decorated
them, made chocolate apples and Rice Krispie plum puddings.
We had a cinema night and had a visit from Aunt Sandra's candy work shop.
During the year the Brownies enjoyed a Thinking Day party with games and food from four
different countries. A promise party dressing up as Super Heroes and had a Christmas party with
a visit from Santa !
The Brownies attended and took part in the Remembrance Sunday Service and all the Brownies
were involved in our Thinking Day Service.
We held a Big Breakfast, held a sponsored walk in Victoria Park and filled Smartie tubes with
20p's to raise money for our funds.
The Brownies have enjoyed a varied programme giving them the opportunity to make decisions
about games and badges and to work together. The older Brownies help the younger girls with
craft work. The girls completed the Cook's badge and some of the Brownies completed their
Swimming badge.
I can also state that there was no harm flowing from the Charities purposes and that there was
no private benefit from any funds raised.
A statement that the Trustees have had regard to the Commission's Public Benefit requirement
statutory guidance
I can confirm that all Trustees are aware of this and adhere to this.

At the end of the year we have £789.17 in funds available to use for the girls
