A summary of the Charivs maln artlvitles to further Its purposes for the publlc beneflt and the
maln achlevements In the year
The Brownies had three themed evenings during the year. Valentine5, Self- defence and I'm a
celebrity. A qualified Judo coach took the self-defence evening.
The girls enjoy crafts and made beaded bracelets for Thinking Day, Tea pot chocolate cards for
Mothers Day, chick photo frames for Easter. masks for Halloween, Salt dou8h poppies for
Remembrance Sundayi painted pots and planted Spring bulbs and made a table decoration for
Christmas.
The Brownie5 love to bake and we made Snowmen, birds nests, baked bi5Cilits and decorated
them. made chocolate apples and Rice Krisple plum puddin8S.
We had a clnema night and had a vlslt from Aunt Sandra'5 candy work shop.
Durln8 the year the 8rownles enjoyed è Thlnking Day paty with games ond food from four
dlfferent countrles. A promise party dressln8 up as Super Heroes and had a Chr15tmas party wlth
a vislt from Santal
The Brownies attended and took part in the Remembrance Sunday Servlce and all the 8rownles
were involved In our Thinkin8 Day Servrce.
We held a Big Breakfast, held a sponsored walk In Victoria Park and fSlled Smartie tubes with
20p's to ralse money for our funds.
The Brownies have enfvyed a varled pro8ramme giving them the opportunlty to make declslons
about 8ame5 and badges and to work together. The older Brownies help the younger girls with
craft work. The glrls completed the Cook's badge and some of the Brownles completed their
Swimmlng bad8e.
I can also state that there was no harm flowing from the Charitles purposes and that there wa5
no private benefit from any funds raised.
